The Welschbilligerbach is an 11.1 km long right tributary of the Kyll in Kordel , its fourth longest overall. On the upper reaches as far as Welschbillig , it bears the name Falzerbach .
course
The Falzerbach rises from the individual estate Hofgarten of the local community of Idesheim and initially runs east, rather it runs southwards after an arch to the right and runs through the town of Idesheim. Continuing south, it crosses the border of the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm to the district of Trier-Saarburg , where it flows to the edge of the settlement of Welschbillig , but then, leaving the village to the right, continues to the west, from there permanently accompanied by the B 422 .
A little below Welschbillig, about from where he lives in In der Au, it is called Welschbilligerbach and flows into a larger forest area. In this he turns to the southeast, crosses the border to the local community Kordel last of all . After it has passed through the larger right-cyllic part of the village, it flows into the lower Kyll from the right just before the river bridge of the B 422 .
Catchment area
The 33.1 km² catchment area of the Welschbilligerbach is, in terms of natural space , in the Bitburger Gutland , politically and administratively seen with its upper part in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm , on the other hand with its middle and lower part in the Trier-Saarburg district .
North of the catchment area border, the Bedenbach drains the adjacent area further up to the Kyll, in the east there is only a small other right tributary to this in front of this. The area adjacent to the southeast is drained by the Kommlinger Bach, which shortly after the Welschbilligerbach also runs into the Kyll in Kordel. On the entire west side, competing brooks run southwest and from the left either, in the southern section, to the Sauer or, in the middle and north, to its large left tributary, the Prüm .
