Wen Chao ( Chinese 温 超 , Pinyin Wēn Chāo ; born August 16, 1992 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who has been playing for the team from Harbin in the Chinese ice hockey league again since 2014 .
Career
Wen Chao began his career as a hockey player with the Harbin amateur team , for which he played in the Chinese Ice Hockey League. In 2013 he moved to China Dragon , the only Chinese professional team, where he was on the ice in the Asia League Ice Hockey . Since 2014 he has been defending again for the amateur team from Harbin.
International
Wen Chao took part in the junior division of the 2010 U18 World Cup and the 2012 U20 World Cup for China in Division III. He also represented his colors in 2012 at the U20 tournament of the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia .
The attacker played with the men's national team at the World Championships of Division II in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
