Wennemar Haarmann

Wennemar Haarmann (born April 18, 1914 in Dortmund ; † May 5, 1993 in Celle ) was a German administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Stormarn district .

Life

Haarmann began studying law and political science at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität . In 1932 he was reciprocated in the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . When he was inactive , he moved to the University of Leipzig and the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster . In 1935 he passed the first state examination at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . As a trainee lawyer in Heidelberg in 1941 he became a Dr. iur. PhD. He passed the second state examination in 1943 at the Superior Court in Berlin. After military service and imprisonment, he joined the city of Hagen in 1945 . 1950–1957 he was city ​​director in Lüdenscheid . On June 25, 1957, the district council elected him to the district administrator in the Stormarn district . He held this position for a total of 18 years. He initiated the “Working Group of the Hamburg Fringe Districts” in order to better represent their interests in relation to the metropolis . In addition, he was chairman of the Schleswig-Holstein district council and district chairman of the DRK and the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge . After leaving office, he settled as a lawyer in Bad Oldesloe .
