West Indies Tri-Series 2016

The West Indies Tri-Series 2016 was a three-nation tournament that was held from June 3 to 26, 2016 in the West Indies in one-day cricket . In addition to the host, teams from Australia and South Africa took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2016 international cricket season .

These are the first games of the season for all three teams.

format

In a preliminary round, each team plays against each other three times. There are four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result . Furthermore, a bonus point is awarded if the winning team has a run rate that is 1.25 times higher than the losing team. The first two of the group qualify for the final and play for the tournament victory there.
