The Wiedereckgraben is a right and northeastern tributary of the Rohrach below Heidenheim in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

course

The Wiedereckgraben rises at a height of 549  m above sea level. NN from the Kohlbrunnen west of the Heidenheimer Bucks between Hohentrüdingen in the southwest and Heidenheim in the northeast. It feeds several ponds and twice crosses under the district road WUG 29, which will soon accompany it, and finally the state road St 2384 in the Rohrachtal. After a run of 2.4 kilometers, the stream flows out at an altitude of 496  m above sea level. NN north of the Balsenmühle from the right into the Rohrach.

Tributaries of the Wiedereckgraben are one after the other

  • on the middle reaches a right tributary from the direction of Hohentrüdingen in the southwest, 0.7 km and 0.5 km²
  • at the lower reaches a left tributary from the tick wood in the northeast, the left upper reaches of which feed the seven springs , with each upper course less than 0.4 km
  • near the mouth of the Faulerwasenbach tapering from the right and southwest , 1.4 km and 1.0 km², which rises between Hohentrüdingen and the Kreuthof
