The Wiesau is a right tributary of the Waldnaab in the Upper Palatinate in Bavaria . It rises northwest of Fuchsmühl in the stone well near the plate mill .

The Wiesau flows from Fuchsmühl in a south-easterly direction to Markt Wiesau . After it has flowed around the community, it crosses the federal highway 93 and flows into the Schönhaider Forest. It separates it from the Sterzer Forest. The Wiesau feeds a few ponds until it flows into the Waldnaab .
