history

In the 12th century, members of the village nobility appeared as witnesses for the St. Ulrich and Afra monastery as well as the Benediktbeuern monastery . 1464 Wiffertshausen was subordinated to the Friedberg court.

On January 1, 1970 Wiffertshausen was incorporated into the neighboring town of Friedberg.

St. Stephan

The center of the village is the church of St. Stephan with the surrounding cemetery, the history of which goes back to before 900.
