Wilfried Ntsengue

Dieudonné Wilfried Seyi Ntsengue (born January 23, 1998 in Yaoundé ) is a boxer from Cameroon .

Career

Wilfried Ntsengue is around 1.80 m tall and boxing in the middleweight division . In 2014 he won a bronze medal at the African youth championships and in 2015 also a bronze medal at the military world games in South Korea , where he also defeated the German starter Denis Radovan .

At the 2015 African Games , he won the gold medal and also defeated Mujandjae Kasuto . He was also able to win the African Olympic qualification in 2016 and then started at the 2016 Olympic Games . There he prevailed against Jorge Vivas and was then eliminated in the round of 16 against Hosam Bakr Abdin .

In 2017 he won bronze at the Islamic Solidarity Games and gold at the 2017 African Championships , this time winning the final without a fight against Hosam Bakr Abdin. He was then qualified for the 2017 World Championships, but retired there without a fight in the first duel against Troy Isley .

At the Commonwealth Games 2018 in Australia , he defeated John Docherty in the semifinals , was only defeated in the final against Vikas Krishan and thus became runner-up.
