Wilhelm Eisenlohr (lawyer)

Wilhelm Eisenlohr (born June 9, 1761 in Tiengen ; † August 19, 1810 in Durlach ; Protestant) was a lawyer in the Baden state service since 1789 .

Wilhelm Eisenlohr was the son of pastor Jakob Eisenlohr (born October 17, 1719 in Emmendingen ; † July 1, 1795 in Tiengen), and Christine Salome née Wechsler (born January 30, 1720 in Durlach; † November 19, 1788 in Tiengen) , Daughter of Johann Jakob Wechsler, pastor in Durlach. On March 20, 1782, he married Caroline Henriette, née Sachs (* November 27, 1763), daughter of Johann Christian Sachs (* September 7, 1720 in Karlsruhe ; † February 28, 1789), church councilor and rector in Karlsruhe, and Regina Sofie born Rößle (born January 6, 1726 in Pfedelbach ; † January 5, 1804 in Durlach). There were four children from this marriage: Henriette (* September 22, 1791 in Pforzheim ; † November 15, 1855 in Bretten ), Karl Wilhelm Heinrich (* July 12, 1793 in Pforzheim; † April 29, 1866 in Durlach), Wilhelmine (* 1796 in Pforzheim; † 1844 in Karlsruhe) and Wilhelm Friedrich (born January 1, 1799 in Pforzheim; † July 10, 1872 in Karlsruhe).

Life

Eisenlohr studied law at the University of Jena and the University of Göttingen . From February 2, 1785 he was an official assessor at the Pforzheim Oberamt and from 1792 to 1794 also a service administrator there . He remained there until September 1802 as a councilor and senior official assessor and on September 14, 1802 he became an official at the Oberamt Durlach , where he was promoted to senior official in 1805. In 1806 he became a councilor and in 1810 a councilor , shortly before his premature death.
