Wilhelm Jelinek (born March 17, 1994 in Vienna ) is an Austrian handball player .

Career

The 1.98 meter tall and 88 kilogram heavy cyclist played for Union West Vienna in his youth. During this time he was called up to be part of the selection of the Vienna Handball Association and took part in various national tournaments with them. With the start of the renewed cooperation between Union West Vienna and SG Handball West Vienna, he appeared for the HLA team.

Wilhelm Jelinek also took part with the youth national team from 1994 and twice in a European youth championship and was able to achieve 6th place each time. In preparation for the domestic U-20 men's handball championship in 2014 , Team 94, as it was called in Austria, took part in the HLA's game operations.
