Wilhelm Rudolphi

Wilhelm Theodor Rudolphi (born March 30, 1825 in Nordborchen , † March 9, 1897 in Tempelhof ) was a teacher and member of the Reichstag .

The son of a teacher attended high school in Paderborn and studied Catholic theology there and philology in Bonn , where he also received his doctorate in 1854 . At the Progymnasium in Rietberg he was a teacher from 1851 to 1855 and rector from 1855 to 1858. Between 1858 and 1865 he was the first senior teacher at the grammar school in Brilon and director of the Rhenish Knight Academy in Bedburg from 1865 to 1869. He was then director of the grammar school in Kalk near Cologne.

He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Cologne Region 2 ( Cologne - Bergheim - Euskirchen district ) from 1870 until his death. He was a member of the Reichstag from 1871 for the same constituency. He represented the center in both parliaments, and held each mandate until his death.
