Wilhelm Schultze-Rhonhof

Wilhelm Emil Eduard Schultze-Rhonhof (born March 15, 1859 in Warburg , † November 9, 1939 in Zwickau ) was a German entrepreneur .

Life

Schultze-Rhonhof, son of a judicial councilor and notary as well as a member of the National Parliament from 1848 in Frankfurt am Main , attended grammar school in Paderborn and completed an apprenticeship in banking at the M. Paderstein & Söhne bank. In 1880 he had a position at Deutsche Bank , in 1886 he joined his father-in-law's bronze goods factory, Kramme.

Schultze-Rhonhof was initially director and later general director of Schäffer & Walcker AG from 1895 to 1920 .

He was also a co-founder of the Association of German Employers' Associations (today BDA ) and deputy chairman and treasurer of this association. In addition, Schultze-Rhonhof was co-founder and for 25 years deputy chairman and later chairman of the Federation of Industrialists .

He was also a commercial judge.

Schultze-Rhonhof was married to Änni, b. Junk. His son was Willy Schultze-Rhonhof, director and head of the legal department at Zwickauer Maschinenfabrik AG.
