Wilhelm Schultzen

Wilhelm Schultzen (born November 1, 1863 in Goslar , † January 18, 1931 in Berlin ) was a German medical officer in the Prussian Army and the Reichswehr .

Life

Schultzen joined the Prussian Army and studied medicine at the medical-surgical Friedrich Wilhelm Institute . In 1882 he became active in the Pépinière-Corps Franconia . He later became a corps bow bearer of the Saxonia (KWA) . In 1887 he was at the Friedrich-Wilhelms University for Dr. med. PhD . From 1902 to 1913 he was a consultant in the Prussian War Ministry . In the First World War , he was appointed General physician and surgeon general promoted and appointed (1918) to the director of the medical departments in the Ministry of War. Since the establishment of the Reichswehr Ministry in October 1919, Army Medical Inspector , in 1920 he achieved the highest medical rank as Chief Medical Officer . The Charité appointed him honorary professor . In 1927, he was considered uncharacterized General of Infantry adopted . From 1918 to 1921 Schultzen was a member of the board of trustees of the Fürst Donnersmarck Foundation in Berlin .
