Wilhelm Winkler (politician)

Wilhelm Winkler (born May 30, 1908 in Sulzbach-Rosenberg ; † July 18, 1993 ) was a German politician ( CSU ).

Winkler attended the humanistic high school in Amberg , which he left in 1928 with the Abitur. He studied law and political science at the universities of Würzburg and Königsberg ; In 1935 he passed the major legal state examination in Munich and worked in the Bavarian judicial and administrative service. He took part in World War II , most recently as a lieutenant in the war against the Soviet Union .

After the war, he was Councilor in the district administration offices in Parsberg and Lauf . In 1952 he was elected for the first time to the district administrator of the district of Lauf an der Pegnitz ; he held this office for three terms. In 1966 he moved into the Bavarian state parliament for the first time, and in 1970 he won the direct mandate in the district of Hersbruck - Lauf an der Pegnitz (today the district of Nürnberger Land ). He did not run for the 1974 state election.
