Willa Fitzgerald (born January 17, 1991 in Nashville , Tennessee ) is an American actress .

Life

Willa Fitzgerald graduated from Yale University's Yale School of Drama in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts . Shortly thereafter, she got the role of Lola Laffer , daughter of Senator Louis Laffer (played by Matt Malloy ) in the Amazon series Alpha House . In this role she was seen in a total of twelve episodes from 2013 to 2014. This was followed by guest appearances in series such as Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York , The Following and Gotham . In 2014 she took on a recurring supporting role as Emma Miller in the sixth season of the dramedy Royal Pains . From 2015 to 2016 she played the lead role as Emma Duval in the MTV television series Scream , which is based on the horror film series of the same name by Wes Craven .
