William Graham Connare

William Graham Connare (born December 11, 1911 in Pittsburgh , USA ; † June 12, 1995 ) was the Catholic Bishop of Greensburg .

Life

William Graham Connare received on 14 June 1936, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On February 23, 1960 Pope John XXIII appointed him . to the bishop of Greensburg. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Egidio Vagnozzi , ordained him episcopal on May 4 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Detroit , John Francis Dearden , and the Bishop of Covington , Richard Henry Ackerman CSSp .

On January 20, 1987, Pope John Paul II accepted William Graham Connare's resignation on grounds of age.
