Howard Joseph Carroll (born August 5, 1902 in Pittsburgh , USA , † March 21, 1960 ) was Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown .

Life

Howard Joseph Carroll received on 2 April 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 5, 1957, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of Altoona-Johnstown. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Amleto Giovanni Cicognani , donated him episcopal ordination on January 2, 1958 ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Pittsburgh , John Francis Dearden , and the Bishop of Miami , Coleman Francis Carroll .
