Wilhelm "Willy" Becker (born July 17, 1890 in the Forsthaus Thalhof near Steinau , † May 1945 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ). From 1932 to 1933 he was a member of the state parliament of Prussia and from 1933 to 1945 a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Becker attended elementary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a wagon saddler. Various technical training courses were followed by training as a coachbuilder. From 1908 to 1910 he was in military service in the field artillery. He volunteered for the First World War on August 4, 1914 and was not released until December 1918. After the war he worked as a foreman in Frankfurt am Main . He joined the NSDAP in the 1920s and became head of the Gau operations cell in the Gau Hessen-Nassau-Süd.

Becker was a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1932 to 1933. He then represented constituency 19 in the German Reichstag from 1933 to 1945. From 1933 Becker was head of the district operations cell in Hessen-Nassau and from May 1933 until the end of the war he was district manager of the DAF in Hessen-Nassau . On January 26, 1934, he became regional chairman of the NSBO in Hesse . He was a member of the Prussian Provincial Council of the Hesse-Nassau Province and was head of the Chamber of Labor in Hesse. He was also a member of the Reich Chamber of Labor . He was also a member of the non-profit housing and settlement construction company in Frankfurt am Main. He fell in May 1945 during the Battle of Berlin .
