The Wilseder Bach , with its older name Schwarze Beeke , is a 4.2 km long right tributary of the Radenbach in the Lüneburg Heath .

The Wilseder Bach rises in the Nordheide in Wilsede east of the Wilseder mountain , which is part of the Hohe Heide and thus the ridge watershed between the Elbe and Weser . From there, the stream flows northeast to the border with the Undeloh municipality , then runs in an east-northeast direction, takes in a stream from the right and finally flows into the Radenbach from the right and southwest.

The village of Wilsede was founded at the source of the brook; However, the stream has less water than before and now begins a little below the village.

Traffic rules

Due to the intensive use of the Seeve by recreational sports and canoe rental companies, the Harburg district issued an ordinance in 2002 for the Seeve, its backwaters and the associated bank areas, which is intended to protect the habitat of plants and animals. Since then, driving on and entering the Wilseder Bach has been prohibited all year round.

The Wilseder Bach is moderately polluted throughout (quality class II).
