The Winkelbach is a left tributary of the Arbach, east of the market town of Pleinfeld in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia .

course

The stream rises in the corridor, about 350 m east of the Hötting district of Göppersdorf and south of the 444  m high Heuberg. After approx. 300 m it takes on another, about the same long source stream from the right. It flows west to north-west and feeds several ponds. After a run of around 1.15 kilometers, the Winkelbach flows into the Arbach from the left between Kemnathen in the north and Göppersdorf in the south.
