The Wiseppe is a river in France that runs in the Grand Est region .

The Wiseppe rises in the municipality of Tailly in the Bois de Barricourt forest south of the eponymous town of Barricourt . The source stream changes its name several times (Ruisseau de Barricourt, Ruisseau de Nouart), first drains north, then turns to east or north-east and after 22 kilometers flows into the Meuse as a left tributary in the municipality of Stenay . The mouth is just below a weir in the storage area of the ship channel Canal de la Meuse some meanders of the Meuse cuts. On its way, the Wiseppe crosses the Ardennes and Meuse departments .
