Wolf Feller

Wolf Feller (actually Wolfgang Feller ; born September 1, 1930 in Munich ; † February 3, 2014 in Grünwald ) was a German journalist .

Life

Wolf (gang) Feller worked from 1954 to 1969 as a freelance journalist and editor in the business radio of the Bavarian Broadcasting Corporation and since 1965 also in the television business department. From 1970 Feller became deputy program area manager for politics and current affairs . From 1977 Feller headed the BR foreign studio in Rome and was ARD - foreign television correspondent for Italy , the Vatican , Malta and Greece . In Rome he got into a conflict with the foreign correspondent Franca Magnani , who worked there , which led to a lawsuit that she finally won in 1991. From 1982 he headed the Bayern Information program area . Between 1987 and 1995 Feller was television director for Bavarian Broadcasting. During his time at the radio, Wolf Feller was regarded as a "staunch 'CSU soldier' ​​... and as such, in turn, a loyal ostrich supporter".
