Wolf Richards

Wolf Richards (born May 20, 1930 in Berlin ; † February 2008 ) was a German actor .

Life

After taking acting lessons with Lucie Höflich and Hilde Körber , Wolf Richards had engagements at theaters in Bochum, Bonn, Munich and Oberhausen. Under the direction of Hesso Huber, Richards also played for many years at what was then the Nuremberg City Theater , where he appeared on stage as Don Karlos in Friedrich Schiller 's drama of the same name and in Sławomir Mrożek's Tango .

Since the late 1950s, Wolf Richards was often seen in front of the camera. He made his debut in the crime film On the Day When the Rain Came , directed by Gerd Oswald . Richards also had guest roles in series such as The strange methods of Franz Josef Wanninger , Der Kommissar or Graf Yoster gives himself the honor . In 1970, the Krumbholz case from the documentary series Right or Wrong , based on true events, embodied the driver Heinz Krumbholz, who was falsely accused of murder and convicted.

In 1959 Wolf Richards took part in the radio play Dona Rosita or The Language of Flowers based on Federico García Lorca, produced by Westdeutscher Rundfunk .
