Wolf Seesemann (* 1947 in Nieder-Weisel ) is a German director , actor , author , dramaturge , project manager and producer for new media.

life and work

Wolf Seesemann grew up in Frankfurt am Main , graduated from school there in 1968 and completed a musical education at the same location. In the early 1970s he went to Düsseldorf and worked there for around 30 years as a theater and opera director at the Schauspielhaus.

As a director he has staged more than 120 plays and music theater at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf , the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen , the Burgtheater Vienna , the Theater Basel , the Staatstheater Stuttgart , the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Staatstheater Wiesbaden .

In 2001 he founded the "Kultur.Medien.Konzepte" (KMK) agency in Berlin, which specializes in media projects with artistic and cultural demands. He produces films and DVDs in the field of classical music for the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft , Arthaus Music, Schott Music International, EuroArts, the Academy of the Arts , Young Euro Classic and others.

Wolf Seesemann lives and works in Berlin today .
