Wolfgang Bachmann (journalist)

Wolfgang Bachmann (* 1951 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German architect , journalist and architecture critic .

Life

Bachmann studied agricultural sciences and architecture. He received his doctorate in 1981 on The Architectural Concepts of the Anthroposophists .

In addition to his professional experience in various architecture offices, he was a journalist for the architecture magazine Bauwelt . From 1991 to 2011 he was with the trade journal Baumeister , after which he was promoted from editor-in-chief to publisher . He lectures and writes reviews, glosses and short stories for newspapers and magazines and yearbooks on architecture.

He has lived in Deidesheim since 2015 .
