Wolfgang Branoner

Wolfgang Branoner (* 15. April 1956 in Berlin ) is a German CDU - politicians , managers and consultants .

Life

Branoner has been a member of the CDU since 1975. Among other things, he was District Councilor for Construction and Housing in the Neukölln District from 1985 to 1990 , State Secretary in the Senate Administration for Urban Development and Environmental Protection from 1991 to 1996 and State Secretary in the Senate Administration for Economy and Businesses from 1996 to 1998 . From 1998 to 2001 he held the office of Berlin Senator for Economic Affairs. After resigning as Senator for Economics in June 2001, Branoner worked from 2001 to August 2003 in various sales positions for T-Systems International GmbH . He then moved to Microsoft Deutschland GmbH , where he was Director Public Sector and member of the management until July 2006. Since January 2007 he has been working as a partner at the consulting firm SNPC in Berlin, since July 2011 as a managing partner. Branoner is a graduate in administration and a graduate cameraman and studied at the former University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Justice (today Berlin University of Economics and Law ) as well as at the Berlin Administrative Academy .

Bodies

Branoner and his company are members of numerous committees of Berlin's economy and science. These include: Chairman of the University Council of the University of the Arts (UdK), member of the advisory board of the Einstein Foundation Berlin , support group of the Stiftung Zukunft Berlin , member of the supervisory board of the Dussmann Foundation & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien, board member of the Bauhaus-Archiv eV and Berlin Partner.

Personal

Branoner is married, has two children from his first marriage and lives in Berlin.
