Juliane von Friesen

Juliane Freifrau von Friesen (born November 29, 1950 in Berlin ) is a German business lawyer and non-party politician .

Life

Von Friesen studied law at the Free University of Berlin and passed the first state examination. During her studies she was a research assistant at the Institute for German and European Labor, Social and Business Law at the Free University of Berlin. In addition, she completed a supplementary course in business administration .

From 1980 to 1992 von Friesen worked at OTIS in Berlin and then at Vereinigte Energiewerke AG .

In May 1999 von Friesen received the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon for her work as chairwoman of the Committee for Labor Market and Social Economy of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry , and in 2011 she was promoted to 1st class. She now works as a personnel and management consultant.

Public offices

She was an honorary judge at the Berlin-Brandenburg Regional Labor Court and at the Berlin-Brandenburg Regional Social Court .

From June 2001 to January 2002 she was Senator for Economics and Technology of the State of Berlin in Senate Wowereit I for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .
