Wolfgang Gans Edler Herr zu Putlitz (born January 3, 1857 in Retzin , † May 31, 1931 in Gundelsheim ) was a German landowner and politician.

Life

Wolfgang came from the old Brandenburg noble family Gans zu Putlitz in Prignitz .

After high school he studied in Munich , Berlin , Freiburg , Heidelberg and Bonn law . After his time as a trainee lawyer, finally as a government trainee lawyer in Stettin , zu Putlitz turned to agriculture. He learned on various estates and then initially leased a paternal estate. From 1896 he was the owner of Barskewitz in the Saatzig district .

From 1907 to 1918 he sat as a member of the constituency of Stettin 5 (Pyritz - Saatzig) for the German Conservative Party in the German Reichstag. From 1904 to 1907 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Conservatives and for the Farmers' Association .

On April 14, 1896, he had married Hedwig (born May 5, 1872 in Karlsruhe ), the daughter of the Prussian infantry general Paul von Leszczynski , in Berlin .
