Wolfgang Hartmann married Maria, daughter of Johann Dietrich Echter von Mespelbrunn and Anna Katharina von Dalberg, daughter of Wolfgang Friedrich I. von Dalberg in 1634 . The children listed below are from the marriage:

He resigned from both posts, was Kurmainzer bailiff in Bischofsheim and married on May 16, 1684 Mary Magdalene (* September 30, 1658, † May 22, 1740 in Mainz, buried in or near St. Quintin in Mainz), daughter of Wolfgang Eberhard I. von Dalberg . He is buried in the Marienkapelle in Würzburg, the epitaph can be seen there.
