Wolfgang Weisgram

Wolfgang Weisgram (* 1957 in Wiener Neustadt ) is an Austrian journalist and freelance author .

Life

Wolfgang Weisgram studied theater studies and journalism . While still a student, he made his first journalistic steps as a freelancer for Wiener Neustädter Nachrichten . As a journalist, he worked for the Vienna city newspaper Falter active and is currently working as a sports editor and Burgenland - correspondent for the Austrian daily newspaper Der Standard .

Matti Lieske's novel "Inside the Skin" was shortlisted for Football Book of the Year in Germany in 2012.

Weisgram lives in Marz in Burgenland and was married to Vera Sebauer (1954–2015), editor of the magazines DER SEE and TOPART and supervisor of Edition Marlit, until her death . The marriage produced a daughter.
