XOXO is an American music film directed by Christopher Louie from 2016. The film was released on August 26, 2016 on the VoD provider Netflix .

The focus of the film is the EDM festival XOXO , to which several people set off with different goals. Ethan Shaw is a YouTube star, and his friend and manager Tariq got him an appearance. Krystal visits the event with her friends, where she is looking for her friend Jordan and her great love. However, this turns out to be a bitter disappointment. Eventually she meets Ethan.
Shannie and Ray are a couple Ethan meets while on the bus ride to XOXO . Ray gives Ethan his ticket so he can play his set. However, since the cash registers close due to overload, he and his disappointed girlfriend have to stay outside. The two decide to get to the festival site via the sewer system. The situation in the canal comes to a head because Shannie is moving to New York and Ray is supposed to be left alone.
Tariq disappeared because of an innocent LSD trip. Ethan almost missed his set at first, but then he messed up because of technical problems. Star DJ Avilo still makes a deal with Ethan to promote him. Neil, a longtime opponent of Avilo, warns Ethan against exploitation by the superstar and his management.
