Xaveri Rwanda is a Catholic youth organization in Rwanda . At the international level, Xaveri Rwanda is a member of the international umbrella organization of Catholic youth organizations, Fimcap .

history

October 31, 1990 Xaveri Rwanda has signed along with 16 other youth organizations and the Episcopal Pastoral Commission in Rwanda a joint statement that the aggression irregular forces of the NRA and regular armed forces of the Army of Uganda and particularly the forced feeding of children as child soldiers to exercise these Condemned acts of violence.

In 2015, Xaveri Rwanda hosted the Fimcap World Camp. The topic of the international exchange was children's rights , but also the dark chapter in recent history, the genocide in Rwanda . In remembrance of the genocide and in solidarity with all victims, the participants of the World Camp helped to build a house that will serve as a meeting place for the victims of the genocide and their families.
