Xenia Tchoumitcheva ( Russian Ксения Чумичева / Xenija Tschumitschewa ; born August 5, 1987 in Magnitogorsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Swiss model and entrepreneur . She is now called Xenia Tchoumi .

Life

Tchoumitcheva was born in the Soviet Union and emigrated with her parents to Switzerland at the age of six, where she grew up in Lugano . At the age of twelve she got occasional jobs as a model. In the election for Miss Switzerland in 2006 she came in second (behind the winner Christa Rigozzi ). Tchoumitcheva continued her career as a model in the following years and is still the most successful “Vice-Miss” in Switzerland. She worked for Visilab , Burger King and Casino Lugano, among others . She is under contract with the Elite Model Management agency . After studying theBusiness Administration , she completed an internship in 2011 in London at JP Morgan . In the same year she moderated the Miss Switzerland elections.

The Swiss rapper Gimma dedicated the piece Vize Ex-Miss Switzerland to her on his album Unmensch . Tchoumitcheva is a columnist for the authors' magazine Swiss Month . Her private life and her professional activities have been the subject of regular reports in recent years, especially in the Swiss tabloid press .

With around one million followers on Instagram and over five million on Facebook (as of November 2016), Xenia Tchoumitcheva can count herself to the group of influencers who earn their living with their posts on Facebook, Instagram etc.

The NZZ calls Tchoumitcheva a "professional influencer". In an interview with the newspaper, she said: "My capital is my brand."
