Yūta Narisawa ( Japanese 成 澤 優 太 Narisawa Yūta ; born April 14, 1987 in Kushiro , Hokkaidō ) is a Japanese ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with the Ōji Eagles in the Asia League Ice Hockey since 2010 .

Career

Yūta Narisawa began his career with the team at Tokyo University , where he was studying at the time. In 2010 he moved to the Ōji Eagles in the Asia League Ice Hockey . With the team from Tomakomai , he won this Asian professional league in 2012.

International

In the junior division, Narisawa took part in the 2007 U20 World Cup for Japan in Division II.

For the Japanese men's selection , Narisawa was nominated for the first time on the occasion of the 2012 World Cup in Division I and achieved the third-best catch quota of the tournament in his three appearances behind the Slovenian Robert Kristan and his compatriot Masahito Haruna . Also in 2014 and 2018 he played for his home country in Division I. In addition, he was part of the Japanese squad in qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014 , but was not used at the tournament in Nikkō in November 2012, as well as in the qualification for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang 2018 , when he was part of the Japanese squad in the second qualifying round in Riga, Latvia .
