Yunus Özmusul (born February 4, 1989 in Eskişehir , Turkey ) is a Turkish handball player . His body length is 2.00 m. The goalkeeper is currently playing for Orosházi FKSE-LINAMAR in Hungary and playing for the Turkish national team .
In Turkey, Özmusul first started playing football. He played handball in his native country with Anadolu Üniversitesi SK , from the age of 17 for Maliye Milli Piyango SK , then for Ankara İl Özel İdare SK , was under contract twice for one year with Beşiktaş Istanbul and played for two years for Göztepe Izmir . With Maliye Milli Piyango he played in the European Cup Winners' Cup , the EHF Cup and the EHF Challenge Cup . With Ankara he also played in the EHF Challenge Cup. With Beşiktaş Istanbul he played in the EHF Champions League in the 2014/15 season . In May 2015, TV Bittenfeld signed him. Özmusul is the first Turkish national player to switch directly from his home country to one of the German national leagues. In the 2015/16 season he played with the club, which is now under the name TVB 1898 Stuttgart , in the Bundesliga and was used in 30 games. After the 2015/16 season, Özmusul returned to Beşiktaş Istanbul. In the 2016/17 season , Özmusul played with Beşiktaş in the EHF Champions League. He then moved to Göztepe Izmir for two years and to AEK Athens in Greece at the beginning of the 2019/20 season . After showing a military salute together with the entire team at the international match between Turkey and Belgium on October 27, 2019, he was initially suspended from his club for three months and terminated on November 17. Since January 2020 he has been under contract with the Hungarian first division club Orosházi FKSE-LINAMAR.
Yunus Özmusul has 60 international matches played for the Turkish national team and took these to the qualifications for the World Championships in 2013 , 2015 , 2017 , 2019 and 2021 as well as to the qualifications for the European Championships in 2014 , 2016 , 2018 and 2020 in part.
