Yvonne Eisenring

Yvonne Eisenring (* 1987 in Zurich ) is a Swiss journalist , presenter and book author .

Life

Eisenring is an author and columnist for various magazines and newspapers, including annabelle , Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen , Tages-Anzeiger , Das Magazin and Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin . She writes books and plays and is co-founder of the international media art project Yuujou, which was launched in 2018 together with her sister Corinne Eisenring and digitec Galaxus co-founder Oliver Herren. She is visiting professor at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and a member of the Authors of Switzerland Association. She studies philosophy at the Distance University in Hagen and lives in Zurich, New York and Paris.

In 2013 she was voted Newcomer of the Year by the Swiss journalist . In the same year she won second place in the essay award from Das Magazin and was nominated for the Swiss media award.

2016 appeared in the publishing house Orell Füssli with one year for love - 1 year, 12 countries, 50 Dates her first book. Eisenring's work was on the Swiss bestseller list for several weeks and met with great media coverage. The book was widely received and discussed, including in Switzerland, Germany and in the English-language media.

In 2018 her second book A Question of Time was published. In the same year she received the European Newspaper Award for her video column “How does life go?” At the Tages-Anzeiger .
