Zandy Hartig , actually Alexandra Brookfield Hartig , is an American actress .

Life

Hartig is the daughter of songwriter and actor Herbert Hartig and his wife Jennifer Brookfield. She grew up in New York's Upper West Side . After attending a girls' school in the Upper East Side , Hartig graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill . She and her younger sister Meg (Margaret Meryl) got their first roles in the 1995 drama Hungry For Love directed by James Mangold . Hartwig was in it as Jean u. a. seen next to Liv Tyler . This was followed by appearances on television series such as New York Cops - NYPD Blue and Chaos City .

In 2008 she was hired for Rob Corddry's comedy series Childrens Hospital as supporting actress for nurse Dori . The series, which uses the TV- Show -in-a-TV- Show format, was first released on TheWB.com in December 2008 as a ten-part miniseries. After that, the cable broadcaster Adult Swim took over the series and aired the fifth season in 2013, for which Hartig was promoted to lead actress.

In addition to her work as a film actress, she also took part in various theater productions .
