The Comarca de Zaragoza is one of the 33 comarcas ( administrative unit ) in the Spanish autonomous region of Aragon . Its seat is Saragossa , by far the largest municipality in the comarca. Since Saragossa alone unites around half of all inhabitants of Aragon, the Comarca Saragossa with 662,941 inhabitants on an area of ​​2,290 km² is by far the most populous in the autonomous region. About 54 percent of the inhabitants of Aragon live in it.

The comarca is located in the center of the autonomous region in the province of Zaragoza and comprises 20 municipalities (towns and cities): Alfajarín , Botorrita , Cadrete , Cuarte de Huerva , El Burgo de Ebro , Fuentes de Ebro , Jaulín , La Puebla de Alfindén , María de Huerva , Mediana de Aragón , Mozota , Nuez de Ebro , Osera de Ebro , Pastriz , San Mateo de Gállego , Saragossa , Utebo , Villafranca de Ebro , Villanueva de Gállego , Zuera .

The comarcas bordering on Saragossa are Hoya de Huesca and Cinco Villas in the north, Ribera Alta del Ebro and Valdejalón in the west, Ribera Baja del Ebro and Monegros in the east and Campo de Cariñena and Campo de Belchite in the south .
