Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle ( ) was a municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland .
The community was created in 1991 through the merger of the previous communities Moerkapelle and Zevenhuizen. At first it was called Moerhuizen . In 1993 the name was changed to Zevenhuizen-Moerkapelle.
On January 1, 2010, the municipality was dissolved and merged with Moordrecht and Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel to form the new municipality of Zuidplas .
