Zielonczyn ( German Strzelewo Colony , Grünberg ) is a village in the rural municipality of Sicienko in the powiat Bydgoski in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship , Poland .

The place is about 15 km west of the city of Bydgoszcz .
history
The village was founded as a Strzelewo colony in 1848 when Count Bniński sold 10 acres of land on which 10 families, half Polish and half German, settled. In 1863 the name was changed to Gruneberg . Between January 24th and 26th, 1945 bloody fighting took place near the place between units of the Red Army and the Waffen-Fusilier-Battalion of the SS 15 of the 15th Waffen SS Grenadier Division "Latvia" .
