Zimmer is a district of the town of Marktheidenfeld in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart in the German state of Bavaria .

District of rooms

history

In 1862 the district office of Marktheidenfeld was set up, on whose administrative area Zimmer was. In 1939, as everywhere in the German Reich, the designation district was introduced. Zimmer was now one of the 47 communities in the district of Marktheidenfeld (license plate MAR ). When the district of Marktheidenfeld was dissolved in 1972, Zimmer became part of the newly formed district of Main-Spessart (license plate KAR , MSP from 1979 ).

Before the regional reform in Bavaria , Zimmer was an independent municipality. Since July 1st, 1974 it has been a district of Marktheidenfeld .
