Zsófia Gubacsi (born April 6, 1981 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian tennis player .

Career

In her career, Gubacsi won a title on the WTA Tour (2001 in Marrakech ). At the ITF Women's Circuit she won six tournaments in singles and eight in doubles. In April 2001, Gubacsi reached 76th place, her highest position in the world rankings . She celebrated the greatest success of her career in 2001 when she entered the third round of the French Open .

Between 1998 and 2007 she played 25 games (12 wins) for the Hungarian Fed Cup team .

Zsófia Gubacsi now runs a tennis school in Budapest.
