Zulay Henao
Zulay Henao (born May 29, 1979 in Medellín , Colombia ) is a Colombian- American actress .
Life
Zulay Henao was born in 1979 and moved with her family to New Jersey in the United States when she was four , where she also grew up. After graduating from high school, she served three years in the US Army , stationed at Fort Bragg , North Carolina . During this time, humanitarian missions took the soldier to South America, where she worked as a translator in orphanages.
Her desire for a career change culminated in an acting degree at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (NYCDA). During her three-year studies she gained artistic experience and acted in the independent film Saturday Morning , for example . Supporting roles in television series such as Army Wives and Law & Order: New York as well as film productions such as Feel the Noise and Grizzly Park followed.
