7inch

7inch (born April 20, 1983 in Berlin ; real name: Simon Alexander Eichinger ) is a German music producer and composer .

Life

7inch took its first steps in the music business in 2001 as a rapper for the German-Finnish Crew Querdenker . The crew released several underground tapes, including Mutabor and Kreuz und Quer . In 2005 7inch went its own way and released its first solo record , Hollaluja . At this time he got to know the German rapper Spax and began to produce for him as well as him as an MC at the splash! and to support the Hip Hop Open . In 2006 he signed a label deal with the Cologne record label La Cosa Mia and in 2007 released the concept album The Lovemovement . At the time, 7inch was producing for Big J , Franky Kubrick , Kid Kobra , the Swiss Fratelli B. and Macka ENA .

In 2007 productions for Seryoga , Curse , Die Firma , Taichi and Sabrina Setlur followed . In late 2007, 7inch joined the Hustle Heart production team led by Executive Producer Shuko . In 2008 he produced Joe Rilla , Lady Bitch Ray , Die Firma, MC Bogy and was at Ecko Unltd. Vol. I (hosted by Stat Quo) -Mixtape represented. He also contributed beats to Kool Savas ' online mixtape , No Money, No Problem . In 2009, productions for Prinz Pi , Franky Kubrick, Casper , Basstard , B-Tight , Tony D , MontanaMax and Shiml followed . Among other things, he produced the summer hit Cali Love for Tyga and took part in productions for Lil Wayne , Papoose and The Game together with the crew Hustle Heart. The song Hollywood by rapper Bligg , produced by 7inch and Shuko, reached 90,000 units sold in Switzerland and went three times platinum.

In September 2009, 7inch separated from Hustle Heart to go their own way. Since the split, 7inch has been producing independently and is involved in productions by Casper, Franky Kubrick, Snaga & Pillath , Hammer & Zirkel , Colos , Medizin Man, Prinz Pi, Gimma. In the same year, 7inch went three times platinum in Switzerland with the song Hollywood by rapper Bligg . In 2010 the producer released two of his own remix projects for the first time under the name Digital Love Music . With the mixtape he made another breakthrough in America. He landed with a song on the Coast to Coast Mixtape hosted by Lloyd Banks. At the beginning of 2011, ONE - The 7inch Collection - followed suit for the 10th anniversary . In the past, 7inch was voted one of the top 3 "best producers in hip-hop" via the hiphop.de portal. He was also involved in the number 1 album Aura by Kool Savas as well as in his number 1 collaboration album Gespaltene Demokratie with Xavier Naidoo . The producer received gold and platinum in December 2012 for the Xavas project . Another gold award followed for the Kool Savas album Aura .

7inch is currently under contract with Sony / ATV Music Publishing and Berlin Music Publishing. Here he is mainly active as a producer for urban and pop and as a songwriter.
