Zuzana Hagarová (at times Zuzana Štočková ; born November 25, 1977 in Kežmarok ) is a Slovak chess player .

Life

Hagarová learned to play chess at the age of seven or eight in a training group led by her father. Her brother Eduard Hagara is also international champion and won the Slovak individual championship in 2004. After marrying the Czech grandmaster Jiří Štoček , she took on the name Štočková. In 1998 she was awarded the title of Women's Chess Grandmaster , and in 2002 the title of International Master .

She won or occupied top places in several tournaments: 2nd place at the U18 World Cup (girls) in Szeged (1994), 2nd – 5th place. Place at Open Tatry in Tatranske Zruby (2004), 2nd – 3rd place Place at the Championship of Slovakia (open) in Zvolen (2008).

National team

Zuzana Štočková took part with the Slovak women's team in the chess Olympiads in 1994 , 1996 , 1998 , 2000 , 2002 , 2004 , 2006 , 2008 , 2014 and 2018 as well as the European team championships in 1997, 1999, 2001 and 2003. She won the 1999 Women's European Championship in Batumi with Slovakia .

In the Slovak Extraliga , Štočková played for the ŠK Tesla Liptovský Hrádok from 1993 to 1996 , for the ŠK Tatran Prešov , with whom she won the Slovak team championship in 2000 , from 1997 to 2001 , from 2001 to 2005 and for the ŠK in the 2006/07 season Hydina Košice , in the 2007/08 season for MŠK KdV Kežmarok , since 2008 she has played for the team of 7 Statocných Kosice , with whom she won the championship in 2012 . In the Czech Extraliga she played from 1999 to 2001 and in the 2005/06 season for ŠK Ingem Plzeň ZČE . In the German women's league, Štočkovás played from 2005 to 2009 for the USV TU Dresden (until 2006 Dresdner SC), with whom she won the German women's team championship in 2006 , and since 2012 she has been playing for the Rodewisch chess chicks .
