Events

The competitions took place on October 16 and 17, November 13 and 14, December 11 and 12, 1999, January 23, February 12 and 13, and March 25 and 26, 2000.

Season course

After the ŠK Slovan Levice topped the table with seven wins in a row, they only managed to draw one draw from the other competitions, so that the title fight was ultimately decided between the ŠK Tatran Plynoma Prešov and the ŠK Hydina Košice , which Prešov kept the upper hand through the victory in a direct comparison. Before the last round, four teams faced relegation and faced each other. The ŠK Trenčín was relegated by the defeat against the ŠK Radegast Dunaj Bratislava , for the ŠK Doprastav Bratislava the 4: 4 against ZŤS Spartak Dubnica was too little, as he had lost the direct comparison against their local rivals tied on points.
