Zvonimir Bilić (born September 22, 1971 in Dugo Selo ) is a Croatian handball coach and former handball player who was mostly used as a left backcourt player .
The 1.95 m tall right-hander has been playing for the Croatian top club Badel 1862 Zagreb since 1994 , with whom he was Croatian champions and cup winners in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. Internationally, he reached the final of the EHF Champions League four times (1994/95, 1996/97, 1997/98, 1998/99) and the semi-finals in 1999/2000. For the 2000/01 season he moved to Valencia. After two years he went to Italy to AS Papillon Conversano, with whom he was Italian champion and cup winner in 2003 and reached the third round of the 2002/03 European Cup Winners' Cup . The German Bundesliga team Wilhelmshavener HV then signed him . After just one season, he left Germany and returned to Zagreb in November, where he again won the double. In the 2004/05 European Cup Winners' Cup, he lost his fifth final, for the fifth time against a Spanish team. He then moved to local rivals RK Medveščak Zagreb.
With the Croatian national team , Zvonimir Bilić won the bronze medal at the 1994 European championships and the silver medal at the 1995 world championships . He played 147 international matches in which he scored over 500 goals.
