The following year she reached the 25th place at the World Championships in Marseille . After they had achieved a few top ten placements in open tournaments and the Grand Slam in Marseille in 2002 , they just missed a medal in the match for third place at the European Championships in Basel against the Czechs Celbová / Nováková .

Nevertheless, they failed the next year in Alanya without winning a set after the preliminary round. The World Cup in Rio de Janeiro was more successful , where they reached the round of 16 against the Swiss duo Schnyder-Benoit / Kuhn . They also came in ninth at the 2004 European Championships after losing three sets against the Italians Gattelli / Perrotta . In the second round of the Olympic tournament in Athens they were again defeated by Adriana Behar / Shelda, although this time they challenged the Brazilians over three sets.
