List of rivers in Europe

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of European rivers has to estuaries alphabetically listed watercourses , as European apply if they are at least partially attributable to the European continent.

Tributaries are listed from the mouth towards the source . After the river name, the mouth is usually given, with the respective mouth height, the length and the difference in height from the source to the mouth; the length is marked with "L" and the difference in height with "H". For reasons of clarity and the loading time, completeness should only be aimed at with regard to rivers flowing into the sea, tributaries of larger rivers should only be listed here from a length of 100 km or other special features (source river, waterway, high level of awareness), otherwise it should be listed here to refer to the respective river system.
