Abigail Kathleen Breslin (born April 14 1996 in New York City, New York[1]) is an Academy Award-nominated American actress. She is the fourth youngest actress ever to be nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 10 years 9 months. The only actresses younger than Abigail were Tatum O'Neal (10 years, 3 months), Mary Badham (10 years, 4 months), and Quinn Cummings (10 years, 6 months).
Since 2002, she has performed in films such as Signs, Raising Helen, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, Keane, Chestnut: Hero of Central Park, Little Miss Sunshine, and The Family Plan. She has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno five times. At such a young age, she has still been able to command respect from her older peers.
